

Bodywork Repairs Completed
Having been stood in a museum for a number of years the car needed re commissioning for use. Mechanically checked over and all oils changed, attention was then turned to the paintwork.
The body work had been spray painted in non period bright colours. The owner required
the butchered running boards replacing, all metal work returning to original brass.
The paint was stripped back to bare wood, coach painted in more period colour. Coach
lining was added to wheels and body to enhance the period tulip shaped body.
lines and gaps made good. The completed repair was painted to match and the car was ready for the next round of the championship.

Rolls Royce Silver Ghost. This vehicle had a complete overhaul on suspension and bodywork. All carried out sympathetically to maintain that patina of age. Rotten timbers replaced around the windows and repainted and lined to match original bodywork.
Further work was completed to renew fellows on wheels and repaint.

This vehicle sustained considerable damage during an accident on an Historic rally. All one side of the vehicle was damaged with the front corner taking a big proportion of the impact. The suspension was removed and checked over
for damage. Front panel and wing pulled out to shape prior to wing replacement. The front panel and headlamp bowl was salvaged and reused. A new aluminum door skin was fitted and all lines and gaps made good. The completed repair was painted to match and the car was ready for the next round of the championship.


Purchased in a sale this De Dion had been cut up a little. The bodywork under the
